All users have access to the Cloud LaTeX service (“Service") through our website: cloudlatex.io. Every forms of data, content, and information described below are referred to as “Information."

We collect and store a variety of information when you register and use our website. This information includes;
Your name, Email address, password, faculty, major and IDs of Third party websites such as Twitter, Facebook and Dropbox when you provide us. We store your passwords as an encrypted strings, which means we have no way to identify your actual password.
Files: Files are stored through AWS S3 server. If you connect your account with Dropbox, we also store the files you may designate in the AWS S3 server.
Log data: When you access our service, each application/servers and Sentry store your log. This includes your requests on the website, tracks of exchanging data and errors of servers. These data are stored for improving our services only.
Cookies: We collect and use personal information such as cookies for the following purposes.
User access data: We collect access data, such as the type of browser that you use or the time when you access the service for the following purposes.

Cloud LaTeX uses these technologies below to protect your personal information
Secure Socket Layer(SSL): Data transmission between the application servers and your browser is encrypted by SSL.
Data Encryption: Data you provide us is all encrypted by AES256 and stored in the AWS S3 server.
Keep your files temporarily: Some types of files such as preview images on PDF and other LaTeX compilation-related ones are stored in the application server temporarily. Those files are deleted periodically.
